President

Before joining the company as President in 2012, Gary spent 21 years at Shawmut Design and Construction in Boston. During those years, Gary was a Project Manager for the first 10 years and then headed up the Purchasing Department as the Vice President of Purchasing. Coming from the General Contractor perspective, Gary adds tremendous experience and value to the company in project management, sales and marketplace knowledge. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Lowell.

CEO

In 2012 Michele purchased a stake in The Woodworks from the original founder and currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer. Michele has over 20 years of experience in the construction and retail industries. She gained her experience working in facilities management for Warner Brothers Studios and Nike Retail Services, where she was responsible for construction and management of retail stores throughout the United States. Michele was involved in the design and construction of Niketown, Nike Factory Stores, Nike Goddess Stores and Warner Brothers Studio Stores. Michele attended West Virginia University.

CFO

Ward has held his current position since 2005. In his prior working life, Ward spent 12 years in Boston in the financial services industry, most recently with Boston Institutional Services, Inc. (BIS), a subsidiary of The BISYS Group and member of the New York Stock Exchange. During his tenure at BIS, Ward spent 5 years as Chief Financial Officer and 3 years as President. Ward holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA in Economics from Connecticut College.

Head Estimator

The company coerced Dave out of retirement in 2012. Before his retirement in 2009, Dave ran his own architectural millwork company, Curry Woodworking, which he founded in 1990. In addition to general company management, Dave was responsible for all estimating at Curry. Prior to starting Curry Woodworking, Dave worked with his father at Frank B. Curry Co., an architectural millwork company with 260 employees. Dave holds a BS in Business from Syracuse University.

Production Manager

Danny joined The Woodworks in 2017 to run the mill.  His expertise was evident very quickly and by 2019 he was not only running the mill but was also programming and running the point-to-point CNC.  In 2022, Danny was promoted to run our shop as the Production Manager.  Prior to joining our team, Danny spent 9 years at American Architectural Woodworking, where he experienced a similar path of taking on more responsibilities until he was the shop foreman for 5 years.  Danny is a graduate of Greater Lowell Technical where he studied carpentry.

Project Executive

Mark joined the company in 2005 as a Project Manager and has over 30 years experience in the millwork industry. Mark has drafting experience and is proficient at AutoCAD. Prior to his tenure at The Woodworks, Mark spent 16 years at C.W. Keller Associates as a Project and Senior Project Manager. Mark holds Bachelors degree from Fitchburg State College in Industrial Technology. Mark has also been a leader in the Boy Scouts and spent 13 years as a Scoutmaster where he received the District Award of Merit in Scouting.

Project Manager

Andrew joined the company in 2021.  As a project manager, Andrew oversees multiple projects from start to finish making sure they hit their targets being delivered on time and on budget.  Andrew has been in the architectural millwork since 2007.  Over that time he has achieved proficiency in drafting and project management using various tools such as Auto CAD, Microvellum and Innergy.  Andrew holds a Bachelors degree from The University of New Hampshire Business School.  Outside of the office Andrew continues to enjoy fine woodworking and the outdoors playing golf.

Project Manager

Keith returned to the company in late 2023, after a four-year hiatus working for other millwork companies.   Keith originally joined The Woodworks in 2016 as a Project Manager.  He has 25 years of experience in the industry and has experience in all aspects of millwork including: production management, estimating, design assist, value engineering and of course project management.  In his free time, Keith enjoys outdoor activities with his three boys, with whom he tries his best to keep up.
